YOUTH MINISTRY We provide a weekly ministry for youth, grades 7 through 12 that meets most Sundays from 5 - 7 p.m. There is a "5th Quarter" ministry in our Smith Hall gym immediately after most football and basketball HOME GAMES. There is free pizza and soft drinks, contemporary Christian music, volleyball, basketball, board & card games, and a drawing for prizes. Becky Walker is the Youth Director.
FOOD PANTRY For those in the Lapel area who have an emergency need for food we have combined our food pantry with the Food Pantry of Trinity U.M.C. located at the corner of 7th & Walnut Streets of Lapel, IN. See the EVENTS tab for hours of operation for the current week.
NOMADS About once a month our church coach is used to take fun "day trips" to different places of interest in the state of Indiana. Some of the places visited are: Bear Creek Farms, Wicks Pie Factory, Sechler Pickle Factory, Shipshewana, Indiana State Fair, and the Rockville Covered Bridge Festival, to name a few. A very small fee is collected to help pay for the fuel costs. Even though most who take these trips are of retirement age, any age adults are welcome to come along. For more information you may call Wilbur Eiler at 1-317-485-5615 or Norma Upton at 1-765-534-3767.
